YOU WANT MONSTER POWER, HIT THE HEAVY BAG
Heavy bags have been a part of boxing dating back to the embryonic stages of the game. The first bag a trainer puts the skinny, goofy looking kid that walks into his gym on is the heavy punching bag.
If this kid stays focus and listens to what the trainer is teaching, he or she will become a kickass fighter by utilizing this bag.
You can look down the line of great punchers in the fight game. Guys like Big George Foreman, Earnie Shavers, Rocky Marciano among others, and you will see their training regimen consisted of a heavy dose of the punching bag. Running is good, jump rope is good, but its nothing like laying a solid punch into the heavy bag to develop crazy punching power.
Before you start a punching bag workout, you should go get yourself a good solid pair of boxing bag mitts or MMA gloves. You should also pick up a pair of decent hand wraps. And yeah, take the time to wrap your hands correctly. You can save yourself a lot of pain now. And a lot of pain later on trust me. It’s a pain in the ass to spend 15 minutes to wrap your hands. But its much worst having arthritis in your fingers at 35 years old. So wrap your hands lazy ass.
Train hard so when someone tries to kick sand in your face, you can leave them face down in the sand.
